Zoresco is looking for more than technicians, they’re recruiting members of a specialized team
“Passion. Integrity. Respect. Teamwork. Pride.” No, that isn’t the locker-room slogan of the local college football program. Those five words represent the core values of Zoresco Equipment Co., the full-service Specialists for light and medium duty vocational vehicles. Zoresco has production facilities near Pittsburgh PA, Cleveland OH, and Cincinnati OH. By embodying each of those ideals every day for more than 38 years in its dealings with clients, suppliers, and employees, the company has risen to the top of its industry and become as successful as any championship sports team.
And right now, Zoresco is looking to add to its roster of talented technicians.
If you live near one of the following cities, Cincinnati, Cleveland, or Pittsburgh, PA, and have a basic knowledge of mechanic hand tools Zoresco is looking to hire you. Vehicle technical experience is preferred, but not mandatory. The only absolute requirement is a can-do positive attitude and a commitment to those five core values.
In return, new hires will get one of the best jobs you can have. Zoresco technicians install and repair truck bodies and equipment, everything from service/utility bodies to platform stake bodies to dry-freight van bodies to dump bodies. They also assemble and install all types of truck equipment including snow and ice equipment, power liftgates and cranes, air compressors, welders, emergency equipment and lighting, and complete van interior and exterior equipment. Zoresco even handles alternative fuels; converting vehicles to run CNG (Compressed Natural Gas). Zoresco is a QVM authorized upfitter of Ford, as well as upfitting General Motors, Chevrolet, Dodge Ram, International Navistar, and Peterbuilt trucks to name a few.
If you don’t have experience in this field, Zoresco will train you in-house on the specific state-of-the-industry equipment. You’ll be working alongside a mentor until the company trains and certifies you to work on your own. All you need is some mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
Another benefit of being a Zoresco technician is the top quality craftsman-like approach to your work. You won’t be working on any assembly line. Rather, each job order is filled entirely by one technician, who builds each truck from start to finish. As a result, each technician essentially learns to specialize in every aspect of the build. Obviously, each person has a different skill set and is better at one thing than another, but being on the Zoresco team places specialist to assist all around you. Also, Zoresco pays an hourly rate and time and a half for overtime—not a flat rate challenge—the primary emphasis is always on quality, not speed. This affords you the time needed for consistent top quality craftsmanship. Zoresco will also pay bonuses for achieving top quality AND speed combined each month.
There’s also no need to worry that the job is taking too long and costing too much. While Zoresco technicians work efficiently and conscientiously, they don’t cut corners and sacrifice quality for fatter margins. That way, Zoresco can be confident in the products that—after meeting three quality-standard checkpoints—it’s putting its name on.
If you think you’d like to join and would be a valuable member of the Zoresco team, you can apply in person OR via the company’s website, www.zorescoequipment.com/apply-online.
